Suzanne Citere
Suzanne Citere is originally from New York City where she studied dance with some of the finest instructors in the country. She moved to Lighthouse Point in 1996 and since then, has been on faculty at Dance Theatre of Parkland, Dance Theatre of Broward and Broward Dance Academy. Suzanne has been a dance educator for 30 years.

She is a graduate member of Dance Masters of America and she graduated from Dance Educator's of America's teacher's training school. She was director of Entertainment for Club Med Inc. for five years and has choreographed extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. Certified to judge dance competitions by the National Dance Council of America, Suzanne judges for such prestigious competitions as the American Dance Awards, Starquest and Headliners.

Her students have performed on Broadway, on television and in numerous films and national tours. She is very much in demand as a master teacher and choreographer.

Realdance graduates have been accepted to dance programs at Pace University, Florida State University, NYU, University of Michigan, Cincinnati Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, University of the Arts. In 2014 RealDance graduate Connor Yockus was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar of the Arts, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an arts student in the country and Suzanne was named his teacher of greatest influence. In 2013 Suzanne was named an honoree by the Broward County Commission on the Status of Women by District 4 Commissioner Chip LaMarca and was appointed to the commission the following year. Along with 4 dear friends, Suzanne is one of the subjects on the book "Previvors: Facing the Breast Cancer Gene and Making Life Changing Decisions" by Dina Roth Port. She actively fundraises for FORCE: Facing Your Risk of Cancer, Empowered and is a women's health advocate in the hereditary breast and ovarian cancer community.
